A Look Inside Our First Bus Tour Getaway

Our October bus tour to West Baden, IN, hosted by Diane, brought 18 travelers together for a three-day getaway filled with history, charm, and laughter. The journey began on a brand-new Royal Excursions coach with driver Lisa at the wheel. Along the way, the group stopped at Oliver Winery near Bloomington, where guests relaxed on the patio with wine or cheesecake flights.

Once the bus rolled up to the West Baden Springs Hotel, travelers were in awe of its breathtaking dome, elegant architecture, and top-notch service. Diane described it as “something out of a fairy tale,” and guests instantly felt they were in for a luxury experience.

During the trip, Diane guided the group through the rich history of the French Lick and West Baden resorts, including fascinating stories about the area’s famous Pluto Water and hometown hero Larry Bird. Guests enjoyed hearty breakfasts at Sinclair’s Café, explored at their own pace, and spent time lounging, swimming, or trying their luck at the casino.
